DWK Mourns Our Friend and Teacher Ron Bennett

Mar 21, 2018 | Legal Developments and News

By Gregory J. Dannis, DWK President

DWK joins School Services of California (and nearly every California school district) in mourning the passage of our friend Ron Bennett. He was our teacher of all things fiscal and more importantly, a fierce and unapologetic advocate for public education. Ron understood and wrote frequently of education as the great equalizer and primary tool by which we produce informed, well-balanced citizens who are necessary to the preservation of our democratic institutions. We shall miss his passion, his drive and his wit. But we shall continue to appreciate and benefit from the wisdom he imparted to all of us. Our best wishes go out to his family and many friends.
