The firm’s administrative leadership includes the following:

David S. Chi is Chief Operating Officer of the firm and is located in the East Bay office. He has over 28 years of experience in the legal industry and more than 16 years in law firm administration and operations management. Mr. Chi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Davis and a Master of Business Administration degree from San Francisco State University.
Jill Nefkens is Chief Administrative Officer for the firm and is located in the Long Beach office. She has more than 15 years of experience in all areas of Human Resources management and more than 10 years of experience in the legal industry. Ms. Nefkens earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at San Diego. Ms. Nefkens also serves as the Vice-Chair on the Human Resources Advisory Board for CSULB’s College of Business Administration and chairs the board’s Career Development Committee.
Crystal L. Evers is Controller of the firm and is located in the East Bay office. She has over 25 years of accounting experience, including 15 years with DWK. Ms. Evers earned her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and an accounting certificate from University of California, Los Angeles Extension.
Margarida MacCormick is Director of Billings and Collections of the firm and is located in the East Bay office. She has over 35 years of experience in accounting and was most recently the Director of Client Finance Services for an AmLaw 200 law firm. Ms. MacCormick received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Tom H. Choi is Director of Information Technology of the firm and is located in the Long Beach office. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT management, solution architecture, system administration, and client computing. He has a diverse background managing and supporting IT for law firms and Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computers and Tandem Computers. Mr. Choi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.
Nancy Kumamoto is Director of Client Services of the firm and is located in the San Francisco office. She has several years of experience in the legal industry and has served in various marketing and business development, web and graphic design, corporate communication, and event and project management roles with a number of AmLaw 50 law firms. Ms. Kumamoto earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the Legal Marketing Association and the University of Southern California Alumni Association where she served on the board of both associations for several years.
Janice R. Karr is Office Manager of the firm’s San Diego office. She has more than 35 years experience in law firm administration, including nearly twenty years with DWK. Ms. Karr is on the Board of Directors for the San Diego chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and currently serves as the chapter’s Treasurer. 
Jennifer Murov is Regional Office Administrator of the firm’s San Francisco, East Bay and Sacramento offices. She has more than 20 years of experience in law firm management working 18 of the 20 years at an Am Law 50 firm, first in an IT management role and then in office and operations administration. Ms. Murov attended San Francisco State University and is an active member in both the Golden Gate and East Bay Chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators were she has held various leadership roles.
Alex Reed is Regional Office Administrator of the firm’s Long Beach and San Diego offices. He has more than 17 years of experience in all areas of Human Resources and office management, including three years at an Am Law 10 firm, as well as working in real estate and music. Mr. Reed earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Berkeley and is an active member of the Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
