DWK’s Bill Schuetz Nominated President of Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District Board and Secretary/Treasurer for the 2018 California Council of School Attorneys Board of Directors

San Francisco, CA – Dannis Woliver Kelley is excited to announce that Bill Schuetz has been nominated and elected President of the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District Board. Bill previously served on their board for the past two years, and is now looking forward to this next level of experiences that he will gain. Bill was also elected as Secretary/Treasurer for the 2018 California Council of School Attorneys (CCSA) Board of Directors.

Bill is an Of Counsel attorney in the firm’s Sacramento office and a member of the Business and Property, Construction, Labor, Employment and Personnel, Charter Schools, and Board Ethics, Transparency and Accountability practice groups. As his primary area of practice, Bill regularly assists school districts and county offices of education clients throughout California with various charter school related legal matters and issues. In addition, Bill provides legal advice and assistance to public education clients in other areas of education law, including labor and employment, business and facilities, student rights and discipline, and governance issues, including the Brown Act, conflicts of interest, and Public Records Act requests. Throughout his legal career, Bill has provided legal advice and counsel to public school districts, county offices of education and community college districts across a broad spectrum of legal areas.
