Attorneys

Reid Shannon is Special Counsel in the Long Beach office and is a member of the firm’s Business & Property and Construction practice groups. He represents school and community college districts in transactions and litigation arising out of facilities construction.

Before joining DWK, Reid practiced in San Jose, California, where his work included representing owners in construction defect actions. He also practiced in Atlanta, Georgia, where he handled a broad range of civil litigation matters, and gained mediation, trial, and appellate experience. During law school, he worked as a judicial intern for Judge Carlos T. Bea at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and a law clerk for Bay Area Legal Aid in the Health Access Division.
