Attorneys

Nicole Mirkazemi is an Associate in our East Bay Office and a member of the firm’s Students and Special Education and Labor & Employment Practice Groups. Nicole’s legal experience focuses on compliance with federal and state education laws, responding to pupil records and California Public Records Act requests, and board policy updates. Prior to joining the firm, Nicole worked as a Policy Expert at a school district where she led the revisions of all board policies and administrative regulations where she paid particular attention to the implementation of the new Title IX regulations. Nicole also has previously worked in the General Counsel’s Office of community college and K-12 school districts.

In law school, Nicole earned CALI Awards for highest academic performance in both Negotiations and Regulating Political Activity. Upon graduation from law school, Nicole was named a member of the Pro Bono Society and received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services.
