Jenai Howard is an Associate in our East Bar Office. Prior to joining DWK, she was an associate at a San Francisco-based labor and employment firm where she primarily worked in the nonprofit and education practice groups. During her year at that firm, she gained extensive experience handling a wide range of employment related matters, including workplace investigations, assisting with a deposition and mediation, preparing witnesses, drafting position statements in response to CRD and EEOC complaints, and conducting legal research.

While Jenai was in law school, she interned at the ACLU (2021) and the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (2020) where she worked on a wide range of voting rights issues at both organizations. After graduating college, Jenai interned at the Supreme Court of the United States in the Clerk’s Office where she handled public inquiries and processed and distributed briefs to the Justices’ law clerks.
