Christine Vana
Christine Vana is Special Counsel in the Sacramento office and is a member of the Business, Property and Construction practice group. Prior to joining DWK, Christine worked as the in-house counsel for numerous state boards of directors, advising in the areas of board governance, sunshine laws and ethics, public contracting, ground leases and facility use agreements, landlord-tenant law, joint power authorities, and the California Environmental Quality Act.
Christine graduated magna cum laude from New England Law in Boston where she served as a technical editor for the New England Law Review. She gained valuable experience as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division; U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor; Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, Office of the General Counsel; County of Hawai’i, Office of the Corporation Counsel; and County of Hawai’i, Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
