Samantha Lee
Samantha Lee is Special Counsel in the San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Business, Property and Construction Practice Group. Samantha advises school districts, county offices of education, and other public agency clients on a wide range of contract, procurement, facilities, technology, real estate, and governance matters.
Samantha regularly drafts, reviews, and negotiates vendor agreements, professional services agreements, consultant agreements, construction and general contractor agreements, software and technology agreements, equipment purchasing agreements, and related terms and conditions. She also counsels clients on compliance with the California Education Code, the California Public Contract Code, and related public agency contracting and procurement requirements.
Prior to joining Dannis Woliver Kelley, Samantha served as Senior Deputy General Counsel for San Francisco Unified School District, where she acted as the District’s primary contracts counsel and advised departments including technology, procurement, real estate, and facilities design and construction. Samantha also has experience in affordable housing, real estate, municipal law, and public finance, including transactions involving nonprofit public benefit corporations, public agencies, developers, and municipal bond issuers.
