Attorneys

Nathan Sullivan is Special Counsel in our East Bay Office and a member of the firm’s Students and Special Education Practice Group. Nathan focuses his practice on assisting school districts across the state in a variety of student-related matters, including issues related to special education, student discipline, discrimination, and Title IX.

Prior to joining the firm, Nathan served as an attorney-investigator for the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights, where he evaluated and investigated claims of discrimination by educational institutions. Nathan also represented parents of students with disabilities and students in education-related matters for more than seven years and during this time was listed on the Super Lawyers: Rising Stars list from 2020 to 2023.
