Ingrid A. Meyers is a Shareholder in the Sacramento office. She has more than 15 years of experience as a civil litigator and has successfully represented public and private sector clients in the area of labor and employment law. Ingrid counsels and represents public school districts in personnel-related matters including layoffs, dismissals, discipline, contract administration, grievances, harassment and discrimination claims, and administrative proceedings. She has prevailed at numerous dismissal and suspension hearings and has received favorable arbitration decisions for school districts involving labor and contract matters.
Prior to joining Dannis Woliver Kelley, she specialized in representing institutions of higher education in discrimination and wrongful termination cases, and in faculty and student grievances and dismissals. Ingrid has developed and presented anti-harassment/anti-discrimination training courses for numerous clients. She also routinely presents trainings and courses on discipline and evaluation of classified and certificated employees. As a litigator, Ingrid has represented and defended clients at mediations and arbitrations and written and successfully argued motions in federal and state court.
