Alicia “Ali” Arman is an Associate in the East Bay Office and a member of the Firm’s Students and Special Education practice group.  She works with school districts across the state of California to provide advice and counsel on all matters involving students and special education, from student issues to UCP complaints.  Ali also represents clients at all stages of the special education process.

In addition to a law degree, Ali holds a master’s degree in Education and has experience as an educator in private and charter schools.  Before coming to DWK, she served as a Judicial Law Fellow to the Honorable Joseph C. Spero, magistrate judge, in the Northern District of California.  She also worked advising California private schools on student issues at another firm.  Ali is passionate about public education and dedicated to serving the school districts that provide it.
