Other firm administrative positions include the following:

Sally A. Marks is Executive Director of the firm and is located in the San Francisco office. She has 30 years of experience managing the business and financial operations of law firms, including 15 years with DWK. Ms. Marks earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University at Hayward and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Saint Mary's College of California, Moraga. Ms. Marks is a member of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and has chaired several committees.

Jerry B. Cooksey is Director of Business Development of the firm and is located in the Long Beach office. He has 13 years of law firm marketing, public relations, event planning, and business development experience, including eight years with DWK. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Brigham Young University, Provo. He is a presenter and member of the Legal Marketing Association.

Crystal L. Evers is Accounting Manager of the firm and is located in the San Francisco office. She has 23 years of accounting experience, including 15 years with DWK. Ms. Evers earned her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and an accounting certificate from University of California, Los Angeles Extension. She is a Board Member of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and co-chair of the Salary Survey Committee.

Susan K. Miller is Office Manager of the firm’s Long Beach office. She has been with DWK for over 27 years and is responsible for overseeing the daily administration of the Long Beach office. She takes an active role in facilitating and participating in the firm's conferences, trainings and other aspects of business development. Prior to joining DWK she worked nine years for a public sector law firm as a coordinator and legal secretary where she gained valuable experience in education law.

Anne M. Burcell is Office Administrator of the firm’s San Francisco office. She has over 25 years of experience in law firm management and has been with DWK since 2010. Ms. Burcell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and a teaching credential from California State University, Chico and has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. She is a past president and member of the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Northern California Human Resource Association.

Janice R. Karr is Office Manager of the firm’s San Diego office. She has over 25 years experience in law firm administration, including nearly nine years with DWK. She has a wealth of experience working in education law, and event coordination and planning. She is also an avid parent volunteer at two schools in the Poway Unified School District and a member of Volunteer San Diego.

Tom H. Choi is Information Technology Manager of the firm and is located in the Long Beach office. He has more than 16 years of experience in IT management, solution architecture, system administration, and client computing. He has a diverse background managing and supporting IT for law firms and Fortune 500 companies including Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computers and Tandem Computers. Mr. Choi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.
